2-Step Limit Switches

A limit switch is a critical component of overhead crane safety. For an overhead crane, they provide solid, established points of reference for maintaining efficiency, reliability and safety standards.
2-step limit switch provides additional safety in travelling motion, preventing the equipment to run into the end buffers at high speed. It can also improve horizontal hook reach and enables operation closer to walls.

Compatibility with different equipment types

• Compatible for all types and makes of lifting equipment, but mechanical fixing may vary
• Directly compatible with CXT hoists from mechanical perspective (single and double girder trolley, bridge travelling)

Other specifications / restrictions

• Suitable for all control voltages up to 250VAC and can switch maximum 3A
• Four pieces of trigger bars need to be installed close enough to trolley runway to (2 pieces for both ends) to activate the limit switch
• First trigger to slow down the trolley movement
• Second trigger to stop the trolley movement
