Side Pull Prevention

Side pull can cause violent and hazardous load swing and hoist components such as the rope guide or drum might get damaged, or in the worst-case load ropes may snap.

Side pull prevention retrofit prevents side pull by stopping the hoisting motion and warning the operator with horn and blinking lights, when inclinometer detects the side pull.

Compatibility with different equipment types

• Compatible for all types and makes of lifting equipment, but mechanical fixing may vary

Other specifications / restrictions

• Recommended maximum height of lift (HoL) <10 meters (if more than this, the measurement becomes inaccurate)
• Does not support CAN-bus connection, inclinometer works only for hard-wired equipment (do not confuse this product with RAF-module)
• The wire rope diameter is between 5 mm-28 mm
• Variable packages based on control voltage (48V, 115V or 230V)
• The dead end of the wire rope anchors to the trolley, not the drum
• The winch must have a cross bar, or similar structure, to mount the induction sensor near the drum face
  • If the hoist features true vertical lifting, induction sensor not needed
